OkOk, but where is the sidplayer? C64 emulator?
cocos2d will quite possibly be used for the SID player's graphics..
Well with all these delays there already IS a Sidplayer on the app store. It's $2.99. Sadly at the moment it lacks the ability to download the entire HVSC, instead downloading the individual SID when you want to listen to it.
And the search doesn't work properly.
This site has become so disappointing. It seems more about pimping programming resources than anything solid like a decent SIDPlayer now. Very sad.
Oh yeah, and "possibly used for the SID player's graphics" translates to "We don't even have an interface yet."
As I've said previously, I've been working on the emulator, and therefore the SID player has had to take second place - I can't do two things at once. I do not have an 'interface' yet, but I do have the SID player running on the device, and it sounds and performs great. If you are willing to demonstrate a little patience, you will not be disappointed.
And as for 'graphics', have you seen SIDPLAY for OS X? I'm hoping to provide a similar experience on the iPhone.
Ok, the question is still : WHEN?
